The last work weekend of the year was at the beginning of September.
It seems that more people than ever took part this year: all the accommodation was fully booked, and a phenomenal amount of work got done! One of the most satisfying of the jobs completed was the digging out of the stream that runs through the forest. It is now a beautiful walk where the water which flows from the lake has been re-directed to form a meandering stream along the forest path.
There was a great sense of enthusiasm and camaraderie with all who were kind enough to join us at the work weekend. In exchange for board and lodging, those who can spare a few days to help out Jampa Ling provide much needed support to the centre. We hope to see you on a future weekend!
