Teachings
We are extremely honoured and grateful that Ven. Lama Panchen Otrul Rinpoche
will give a course of teachings this winter. This is a rare opportunity to hear these profound Buddhist teachings in Ireland, from a high Tibetan Lama, who embodies what he teaches and is himself a great practitioner and scholar.
LAM RIM:
PROFOUND TEACHINGS OF THE BUDDHA
All too often, we can become overwhelmed by our problems, unable to cope, anxious, confused, fearful, depressed, and even aggressive. The reality is that our suffering can be generated and increased by our minds response to the problems we encounter in our daily lives. This winter, Ven. Rinpoche will give Buddhist teachings on Lam Rim. The Lam Rim teachings contain all of the Buddha's deeply profound teachings, condensed into step by step stages that form the path to enlightenment. If we integrate these steps into our daily activities, our lives can be happier and more meaningful; and we can, with confidence, compassion and understanding, relate positively to ourselves, to other people and to the world.
In order to gain the greatest benefit from these profound teachings, suitable for beginners and long term practitioners, we are encouraged to attend each weekend over the course of the winter. Relevant meditations will be integrated into each weekend.
