A weekend of relaxation, with instructions on how to develop a peaceful mind and a relaxed body.

The celebration includes a purification ceremony for the environment

26th June UNIVERSAL DAY OF PRAYER
This
day was initiated by H.H. the Dalai Lama. Prayers will continue
the whole day in the shrine room. Everyone welcome to join in
during the day .

3rd-4th July WHITE TARA INITIATION AND RETREAT
given by Ven. Panchen Otrul Rinpoche
For
students wishing to take this initiation and also for those already
having the initation. The initiation can be taken a second time.

6th - 8th August YAMANTAKA RETREAT
For students who have taken the Yamantaka Initiation
Please arrive in the afternoon to help arranging the shrine and room etc.
21st-22nd August MEDITATION RETREAT
For students and any one needing 'time out'.
This
is a silent weekend, an opportunity to meditate with a group,
with time for some instruction and discussion.
We offer a very relaxed, no-pressure retreat weekend for every

August MAHAYANA PRECEPTS
This
is a purification practise at the time of the New
moon. It lasts for 24 hours and includes partial fasting.
Those wishing to participate should arrive the evening before, the practise starts before sunrise.

Anyone interested in birds will enjoy joining with the Bird Watchers Society ….. Everyone is welcome. Light refreshments beforehand will be served.

These
highly successful weekends are very important for maintaining the
upkeep and running the centre. We ask people to spare some time to come
and help. We offer meals and accommodation in return.

Lauren will give you the basic tips, guidelines and recommendations you will need to start a successful yoga practice.
Linking the breath with movement, this is a very gentle yoga suitable for all ages.

highly popular work shop gives us the opportunity of expressing
ourselves in song. No previous singing ability is necessary -

Dharma for Kids
A
regular meeting will be held on the last Saturday of each
month,
gently introducing youngsters to the practise of Dharma. It
will
include a range of activities, both inside and out, and usually a
little time in the shrine room. We welcome parents to participate in
this new venture with their children. It is not necessary to come every
month.

Every
Tuesday in Tara House from 7p.m - 8 p.m.

Individual Work Weekend
An opportunity for Rinpoche's students
(maximum two people per weekend) to offer their
time to help with the maintenance of their Centre. Accommodation and
meals provided.
