The students offered long life prayers and mandala offerings to Ven. Rinpoche. Ven. Rinpoche expressed his warm wishes to all his students and gave a brief teaching on living a meaningful life. He expressed his gratitude to all the people and organisations that have contributed and supported his charitable projects in Mongolia.

He was interviewed by Channel 9 Television News about the purpose of his visit and his work in Mongolia. Ven. Rinpoche greeted the Mongolian people and spoke about the various humanitarian projects that Asral Charity does in Mongolia. He spoke briefly about how he first came to Mongolia in 1995 along with HH the Dalai Lama. Ven. Rinpoche was asked by HH the Dalai Lama to help with the re-establishment of Buddhism in Mongolia and to give Dharma teachings to Mongolian people.

Since then Ven. Rinpoche has been visiting Mongolia every year. He has established a Buddhist centre called Kunkhyab Jampa Ling and also a charity called Asral NGO in Mongolia. These organisations have benefited thousands of impoverished people from the shanty towns of Ulanbaataar city and from other regions in Mongolia.
