Rinpoche’s Trip to Mongolia
Venerable Rinpoche is in Mongolia on his annual trip to oversee his humanitarian projects in Mongolia and to see his Mongolian students. Venerable Rinpoche has been going to Mongolia every year since 1995. He left on the 3rd August and will be returning on the 7th September. We wish him a safe and successful trip!

Meditation for Beginners, Natural Voice and Singing Workshops and Yoga with Lauren Hensey
This month we had two Meditation for Beginners workshops. Both were well attended and enjoyed by novices and people familiar with meditation. Anna Felton and Eileen Stephen’s Natural Voice and Singing Workshop went off well, with many participants even singing between sessions. Lauren Hensey’s Vinyasa Flow Yoga day was fully booked and enjoyed by all. The full cost of Lauren’s workshop is donated to Asral Charity, which is Ven. Rinpoche’s Charity in Mongolia.
Heritage Day – 25th August
Over 40 people came to walk and meditate in the wood during Under the Arms of the Beech – the Heritage event at Jampa Ling this year. The walk was followed by harp music and poetry, with refreshments in the dining room of Owendoon House.
Community Gardening
Come and join us every Wednesday for our community gardening day from 10pm. Our main gardener, Aisling, will be there and she and the other volunteers would really love you to give them a hand.
WWOOFers
This August our two WWOOFers were Bri from the US and Paula from Spain. Both WWOOFers have been a great help in the house and in the garden with Aisling our head gardener and our intern from Oregon, Blair. Thank you guys for your help!
