Saga Dawa – Celebrating the Buddha

Loading Events

A celebration of the Buddha’s life, enlightenment and entering Nirvana. Saga Dawa means ‘fourth month’ and the celebration is held in the fourth month of the Tibetan calendar because the Buddha was born, attained enlightenment and passed into Nirvana during this month.
We invite you to share this special day at Jampa Ling (starting at 11am). Everyone welcome. We celebrate with a Smoke Puja (traditional Tibetan purification ceremony) in the gardens and prayers in the Shrine Room.

Please bring vegetarian food to share – and your musical instruments if you would like to play!

Cost: free

** If you would also be here  – or like to be here – on the Saturday for the Introduction to Meditation course, kindly contact us for bookings.
