On Friday 21st..March the Jampa Ling hosted a group of third year Political Science and Sociology students from National University of Ireland Galway.
The students were studying a Module on Buddhism and had requested a visit to a Buddhist centre.
After an introductory talk with Ani-La on the work of the centre both overseas and in Ireland.
The students experienced a short meditation session lead by Desmond.
They were then shown around the centre and joined the community for Lunch. It was a very successful day and everyone enjoyed it.

On Monday 24th March Jampa Ling hosted a group of Transition year students from St Mogue’s College Bawnboy.
The students were making a Video which would appear on Skye TV eventually and arrived with a professional photographer. Their project was focussed on interesting aspects of Bawnboy and they wished to include a visit here. Their visit included an interview with Ani-la and a short meditation session with Desmond.
It was very successful visit and we thanked them for coming.
