Accommodation

Our guest accommodation with its nineteen acres of peaceful and tranquil gardens and woodlands, is available all year round, at very reasonable rates, and includes breakfast, lunch and evening soup (all vegetarian).

Most of our visitors stay in Tara House, a converted coach house which provides modern accommodation for up to fourteen people.  As well as a kitchen and dining room, there is a large community room.  Tara House opens out onto Jampa Ling’s beautiful walled garden.

Tara House is also available for short- or long-term rent for residential or non-residential workshops or events.  If you or your group are interested in booking Tara House please contact the office.

Jampa Ling Hostel is situated in the grounds of the Jampa Ling Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Centre near Bawnboy in the Cavan area of the Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark.  The Hostel is a new facility offering comfortable single or double room accommodation.

All are welcome to come and relax and enjoy the peace and quiet in this beautiful corner of West Cavan, or use the Hostel as a base to explore the varied and rugged countryside of lakes and mountains.

The Hostel rooms have ensuite and semi ensuite bathrooms, and you can prepare your own meals in the well equipped kitchen. There is also a self-contained area consisting of a bedroom with access to its own kitchen and bathroom. At present we are not able to provide meals.

Situated in an undisturbed, tranquil area in the grounds of Jampa Ling, facing south over the fields, the retreat mobile offers a comfortable venue for meditation and solitude.

The accommodation is minimal – as befits a retreat space. It is comprised of a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and meditation room.  There is electricity and a wood burning stove.  The staff at the centre offer help with shopping to anyone doing a retreat.

The retreat mobile is available for short- or long-term rent at a reasonable price.  Please contact Jampa Ling’s office for further information.
