Whether you are new to meditation or have walked this path for many years, this silent retreat offers a space to deepen and renew your practice. This retreat is aimed at supporting people to establish the foundations for a daily mindfulness practice. We will notice how these practices, even if for a few minutes each day, can bring greater ease, clarity, and balance to our lives. Research suggests that as little as five minutes of daily practice can begin to soften patterns of stress, anxiety, and low mood.

Drawing from both contemporary research and the rich, time-honoured traditions of Buddhist teachings the weekend will include gentle guidance on the principles of mindfulness, practical instruction in meditation, a range of guided practices, and space for personal reflection on how these teachings and practices can support your own life — along with time to rest and take in the beauty of Jampa Ling.

A silent retreat creates the conditions for deeper insight, inner calm, and a more intimate connection with ourselves and our experience. Silence begins on Saturday at 10:30am and ends on Sunday at 3pm. 

Come as you are, and leave with practices to support you long after the weekend has ended.
