We are very pleased to announce that final payments have now been made on the Owendoon House mortgage. This goal has been an ambition for Venerable Panchen Ötrul Rinpoche, the Trustees and the student body for many years.
It is thanks to the remarkable generosity of so many people who made donations large and small that the mortgage (received from Clann Credo in early 2019) has been paid off with such speed. With the completion of the Owendoon House payments, all the buildings and land on the grounds, including Tara House and the recently constructed hostel, are fully held by Jampa Ling Trust CLG.
We would also like to sincerely thank the Cross family – from whom Owendoon House was purchased – for their generosity, including the kind donation of Tara House and grounds some years ago.
Ven. Rinpoche and the Trustees wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported Jampa Ling over the last 30 years and hope the Centre will continue to be a beacon of Buddhadharma of benefit to all beings for many generations to come.
